Previously, she was Deputy Director of the Surgical Device Innovation Accelerator at Mayo Clinic which gives her the expertise to understand and create technologies to address unmet patient needs identified by surgical staff.

Leigh Hochberg is Professor of Engineering at Brown University. His professional activities include research in cortical neurophysiology & implanted brain-computer interfaces and directing 2 neurotechnology centers. He is an expert in design and translation along with providing clinical perspective in the area of stroke and neuro-ICU care as a neurologist during project evaluations.

As a neurologist both in academics at Stanford and in industry as CMO of Neuropace, Martha Morrell has led the develop­ ment of innovative closed loop, implantable stimulation therapies for brain disorders. Her clinical translation of responsive neurostimulation and Class Ill device development will provide excellent perspective on high impact meritorious innovator projects.
