Marc Filerman

Marc is the CEO of the German accelerator Life Sciences and has provided fundraising, commercialization, and strategic advice to early-stage ventures. Prior to this, he was an accelerator executive at the CIMIT Healthcare Accelerator at Massachusetts General Hospital. This experience makes Marc well suited to leverage ClMIT’s Guidance and Impact Tracking (GAITs) tool at NTH.

Erika Ross, PhD

Erika Ross is the Director of R&D Applied Research at Abbott Neuromodulation leading applied research strategy and external partnerships. Previously, she was Deputy Director of the Surgical Device Innovation Accelerator at Mayo Clinic which gives her the expertise to understand and create technologies to address unmet patient needs identified by surgical staff.

Leigh Hochberg MD, PhD

Leigh Hochberg is Professor of Engineering at Brown University. His professional activities include research in cortical neurophysiology & implanted brain-computer interfaces and directing 2 neurotechnology centers. He is an expert in design and translation along with providing clinical perspective in the area of stroke and neuro-ICU care as a neurologist during project evaluations.

Martha Morrell, MD

As a neurologist both in academics at Stanford and in industry as CMO of Neuropace, Martha Morrell has led the develop­ ment of innovative closed loop, implantable stimulation therapies for brain disorders. Her clinical translation of responsive neurostimulation and Class Ill device development will provide excellent perspective on high impact meritorious innovator projects.
